You will contribute to a variety of high-scale strategic projects such as M&A transactions, fundraising activities, strategic analysis & assessments, and executing our strategy through OKRs.

P.S.: We are looking for a working student who can join us for 16 hours per week.
Your To-Dos
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research, monitor competitors, and create detailed analyses of target companies for Sdui’s M&A strategy.
  • M&A Strategy: Assist in and learn all aspects of the M&A process, from sourcing through due diligence and closing a transaction to post-merger integration.
  • Strategic Development: Help Sdui’s strategy team align all departments on the company’s shared strategy by tracking KPIs and assist in further developing our strategy frameworks.
  • New Business Development: Drive new business initiatives and create detailed business plans to showcase the potential of these proposals.
  • Ad-Hoc Tasks: As we are still a start-up, you'll play a key role in various corporate development projects across M&A, strategy, new business development, and fundraising.
Your Skills
  • Strong Qualitative and Quantitative Research Skills: You’re skilled in conducting interviews, extracting and consolidating data from databases, and more. Your ability to stay focused on critical objectives sets you apart. Excel and PowerPoint are your friends.
  • Effective Communication: You excel at presenting complex information clearly and precisely, whether in writing or through figures and diagrams.
  • Unwavering Commitment to Quality: You set high standards for your work, and accuracy is your trademark.
  • Proactive and Communicative: Your initiative and strong communication skills are your strengths.
  • Independent and Self-Driven: You thrive working autonomously and are comfortable with limited supervision.
  • Educational Background: Ideally, you are a Master's student in fields such as business, economics, management, entrepreneurship, or related areas.
  • Professional Experience: First experiences (e.g., internships, working student positions) in a fast-paced work environment. Experience in sectors like consulting, venture capital, or start-ups/scale-ups is a plus.
  • Language Proficiency: Your strong English language skills (both written and verbal) are essential, and a proficiency level of German at B1/B2 is also necessary.
  • Other Requirements: You should be available for at least 12 hours per week (ideally 16–20 hours per week).
